Plastic Waste Increasing Piles Of Rubbish…..

Plastic Waste

Plastic has become an integral part of our lives. Every day, an average person living in North America or Western Europe consumes 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of plastic each year, mostly in the form of packaging. In Asia, average plastic use is currently just one-fifth at that level, at 20 kilograms (44 pounds) per person. Plastic is very much useful to humans, Versatile plastics inspire innovations that help make life better, healthier, and safer every day. Plastics are used to make bicycle helmets, child safety seats, and airbags in automobiles. They’re in the cell phones, televisions, computers, and other electronic equipment that makes modern life possible. They’re in the roofs, walls, flooring, and insulation that make homes and buildings energy-efficient, plastic is used for food packaging as it keeps it safe and fresh. Not only for food packaging but also to pack anything usually plastic is used.

But it is our fault that plastic waste is increasing. We use it and throw it. How simple to say. But when every person says these impacts are much dangerous! Single-use plastics are disposable plastics meant for use-and-throw. These comprise polythene bags, plastic drinking bottles, plastic bottle caps, food wrappers, plastic sachets, plastic wrappers, straws, stirrers, and Styrofoam cups or plates. The noxious chemicals used to produce plastic gets transmitted to animal tissue, and finally, enter the human food chain, the WWF claims. It has a big impact on wildlife too. … Plastic kills an estimated 1 million sea birds every year and affects around 700 species which get infected by ingesting plastics.

8 million tonnes of plastic wastes have already been released into the seas, and, by 2050, the quantity of plastic materials is expected to be more than fish products in the seas. Similarly, 1,200 million tonnes of plastic would be dumped under the ground by that year. Benjin likes chemical substances secreted from plastic causes of cancer and create kidney problems. Plastic buried deep in landfills can leach harmful chemicals that spread into groundwater. Also, plastic trash in landfills, which can survive there for thousands of years, releases poisonous greenhouse gases, which gets absorbed in the atmosphere.
The animals may swallow the food along with the polythene bags lying at roadsides, which so many times, becomes fatal.
Plastics clog the drains due to improper disposal habits of inhabitants resulting in water logs during rains. Therefore as we throw it, it will harm us.

Separation of dry waste and wet waste is the most important move to decrease waste. So that it becomes easy to recycle the plastic waste which comes under dry waste. Reuse of the plastic is a thing which will definitely reduce plastic waste piles. If a company makes plastic packaging attractive then it can be easy to reuse it for consumers. Every company should have some policy to retake the packaging of goods after it’s used, by giving some money to consumers. So that consumers will avoid throwing that plastic bags. Reduce the use of plastic bags. Every government should start using plastic waste for making the road, bridges, and much more durable things.  Recycling of waste in Sweden click on the link https://www.trtworld.com/europe/swedish-recycling-so-successful-it-is-importing-rubbish-24491
