The Guinness Book of World Records is a very prestigious collection of records that have been created by people over a number of years. These records consist of all types and all kinds of things and achievements done by people. There are many weird records also set by people which are pretty bizarre and hilarious to look at. Some of them are extraordinary acts which can get your adrenaline spiked and many of them can make you laugh. In this article we will look at some of the weird world records that have been set or created.

Heaviest weight lifted by the human beard: Antanas Kontrimas of Lithuania, in  2013, set the world record for the heaviest weight lifted by a human beard. He lifted a stunning weight of 63.80 kg using his beard. Many people find a weight of 60 kg very heavy to be lifted with their hands, but Antanas did this by lifting a heavier weight with his beard.

Most extended tongue: Nick Stoeberl got his name listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most extended tongue displayed by a person. Nick, who hails from California, USA, in 2012 created this record by extending his tongue to a staggering length of 10.10 cm which completely blows your mind.

Hairiest Family: A very weird set of world records for the most hairy family goes to the Ramos Gomez family who hail from Mexico. Four members of the family who own this record actually suffer from a rare disease known as congenital generalized hypertrichosis which leads to one having a lot of facial hair and torso hair. They still retain this award.

Longest Legs: Maci Currin, a resident of the United States has the record for the world’s longest legs, in 2020, in the female category. Her height is 6 ft 10 inches and her legs are close to 136 cm in length.
