Yes! There Is Need To Plant Trees

Plant Trees

Our basic needs are food, clothes, shelter as well as education as a human being and nothing can be completed without plants. We are humans but forgetting our humanity for the plants.

If you see the area of any city in this world 10 years ago and now! There is a huge increase in it which we called as development!  But, in actual it is only the development of concrete jungles by destroying real jungles with those green trees. With these green trees, we have destroyed houses of many animals, birds, insects. For deforestation, a forest fire is also one of the reasons. Climate change due to human activities is a major cause of forest fires. And after that when that animal enters our societies it scares us. But we should understand how they feel when we destroy their forests.

Not only for houses but also for road construction trees are cut down. We know that trees give us Oxygen and we give them carbon dioxide. But in this interchange, the human population is much higher than trees to give them carbon dioxide which affects pollution. Our increasing population as well as the use of vehicles, industries, AC’s causes global warming, ozone layer depletion due to greenhouse gases, also the polar ice melting. If we don’t regulate it and keep cutting down a tree and forests then it is regretful to say that day of the destruction of our planet will be very near.https://www.conserve-energy-future.com/various-deforestation-facts.php#:~:text=Fact%2070%3A%20Studies%20have%20estimated,approximately%2050%2C000%20species%20per%20year.

Planting more trees bring rain because plants transpire. Transpiration is a process by which aerial parts of the plants lose water as water vapor during photosynthesis. This water is added to the normal moisture of the air thus making the air saturated faster and brings rain. Trees have the ability to save us. Trees are able to clean the air and absorb harmful airborne particles and gaseous pollutants. Toxins such as nitrogen oxides, ammonia, and sulfur dioxide through their leaves, bark, and roots. This improves the air quality in the micro-climate around the trees and contributes to a healthier and cleaner environment overall. Trees also soak up the harmful carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. In one year, an acre of mature trees absorbs the same volume of carbon monoxide as produced from a 26,000-mile car journey! Aside from cleaning the air for us, trees supply us with fresh oxygen to breathe. Through the process of photosynthesis, trees are able to absorb carbon dioxide from our atmosphere and reduce the ‘greenhouse effect’, creating a less polluted, more sustainable world for our future generations. This is the time when we have to take action to reduce air pollution not getting too late. And to plant the trees in our surroundings.

Just remember that moment when you see the wonderful scenario which looks more beautiful due to trees. But mind bleaks when we see that bared hills and mountains. Sitting in the shadow of a tree after getting tired due to warmth is a feeling of great satisfaction. It is really good background music listening to the chirping of birds on a tree. To live all these moments again and again yes! there is a need to plant trees. Trees on roads directly absorb the harmful gases. Therefore local administrations should contribute to tree plantation on roadsides. As a human, it is our responsibility to plant more trees near our residents. Villages with mountains should plant trees on mountains and hills. Many times governments or other organizations plant trees but don’t take care of it. That tree dies and again at the same place next year new trees are planted and again it dies. But after planting a tree we should take care of its growth else there is no use of such tree plantation programs.

  • We should plant at least 1 tree for  1 human in our family in our house gardens.
  • Buy certified wood products. Read the labels and look for the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) mark.
  • Support the products of companies that are committed to reducing deforestation. It’s all about business. If you don’t buy them, they will be encouraged to improve their practices.
  • Try to reduce paperwork. Use recycled products and stop the usage of palm oil and its products.
