Powerball Jackpot

Wednesday, March 28, 2019 was a golden day in the history of the American Jackpots as it reveals the number that will hold the 4th highest amount of lottery. One amazing that website shown that the amount is of around $750 Million that holds the cash value of $465.5 Million. This much money can get you 39 Bugatti La Voiture Noire, world’s most expensive car.

The lucky numbers to score an estimated $750 million were 16, 20, 37, 44, 62 and Powerball 12. The single winning ticket was reported on Powerball’s website.

A lump sum payout would be $465.5 million. The Powerball jackpot had grown since December, when a ticket sold in New York won an estimated $298.3 million.

The jackpot resets to $40 million for Saturday’s drawing.

The odds of hitting Wednesday’s prize — the largest lottery jackpot of 2019 — was 1 in about 292 million according to Powerball.  But Powerball says 1 in every 24.87 tickets wins a prize, starting at $4.

Although the prize has grown steadily since the last jackpot winner on Dec. 26, the odds of matching the five white balls and single Powerball remain a staggering one in 292.2 million.

The $750 million estimated figure refers to the annuity option, paid over 29 years. Nearly all grand prize winners opt for the cash prize, which for Wednesday’s drawing would be an estimated $465.5 million.

Powerball is played in 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., the U.S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Odds of winning

The odds of winning a jackpot remain abysmal at 1 in 302 million for Mega Millions and 1 in 292.2 million for Powerball. You are 25,000 times more likely to hit a hole-in-one than you are of winning a Powerball jackpot.
