Machines are Partners not Replacement: Jack Ma
Hollywood’s one of the most popular franchise ‘Terminator’ is about war happening between human and machine to prove their supremacy over the other. This war is not only a movie concept, it is really happening right now. We are in the progression of making machines with artificial intelligence, over powered calculations and strength. These were supposed to work as partners but they are replacing human instead of working along-side.
The boom of internet and all these smart machinery or software systems have made employment rate worst and this fact is affecting economy drastically. Development of these artificial intelligence and robotics technologies are making human a useless ally. With his not utilized skills and effort there will be no place for humans soon. They can not be partners in this day without upgradation of human skills.
In Zhengzhou, China in a conference on entrepreneurship, Jack Ma, Chairman of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd said that society should be prepared for decades of pain that is coming by the Net that is corrupting the economy.

Addressing the audience Ma said, “Machines should only do what humans cannot. This is the only way we can keep machines as working partners of humans, rather than their replacements.” As per some recent reports advancement of technology is the main reason behind the job cut offs. Giants of IT market like Infosys, Wipro or Cognizant have cut down their staffs by 8000 man in last one year by automating lower level jobs.
“The situation can only improve if significant changes are made to the world’s education system.” he stressed, “policies on artificial intelligence should be chalked out to put a stop on job losses.”
Widespread of automation is not only affecting one country, it has spread all over the world. This widespread of automation has proven itself like plague to the jobs. Now people have to develop new and improvised skills in them to over-take their rightful place.
