- Provide Information to only necessary apps: The apps which you download on your phone may or may not need certain information. Some apps ask for many permissions like access to photos, calls and other media which you wouldn’t prefer giving. If not, then you can block these apps from accessing your information. Only provide information to the necessary apps which you can trust your details with. Some of location permissions give to the app can also find your location and this information can be used for wrong purposes. After using an app, make sure that you shut it down completely. If it keeps running in the background, it can still access all your information without you being aware of it. The app will again have to ask for permissions the next time you use it.
