Kim Kardashian Wears Her Shocking Dress Ever since She Manages to Avoid a Nip Slip

Kardashian West, who accompanied hairstylist Chris Appleton into the event which honored titans of this glam industry, flaunted not only her toned thighs and buttocks, but she also put her cleavage on full screen in a vintage 1998 Thierry Mugler gown that featured criss-cross cut-outs at the bodice which a few on social media have labeled a “boob belt”

“You understand that mood when you’re really feeling your look,” she intimidates Twitter before sharing photos of the eye get-up. The dress, which the Keeping Up with the Kardashians celebrity, 38, has had “for a little while,” based on Appleton, made its debut in 1998 on the runway for Thierry Mugler.

“OK, so I am speaking with Chris. Nominated. Do not we look like we’re going to blossom,” Kardashian West joked on her Instagram narrative. “I feel that is a 1998 archive look that I’ve been dying to use, so this was perfect.” Appleton also shared with the appearance to his Instagram, captioning the photo, “Prom night”

The British-born hairstylist won the Lori McCoy-Bell hairstyling award, sharing an image of a trophy to his Instagram story and wrote he was “so grateful.” The stylist, who has also worked with stars such as Ariana Grande and Katy Perry, showed pictures of Kardashian West’s hair off for the night: a bun.

“I love to set trends, not follow,” he told PEOPLE in 2016. “I’m always eager to push boundaries. I try to keep my job edgy and inspirational but still wearable and beautiful.” Kardashian West’s big night out came just days after husband Kanye West surprised her with a living room serenade courtesy of famous saxophonist Kenny G. for Valentine’s Day
