Birds of Prey Teaser – Harley Quinn’s Suicide Squad Story

The very first look at DC’s Birds of Prey movie and its star, Harley Quinn has finally arrived, giving glimpses of all the DCEU’s Batman members that are brand new. Rumors of a slightly different Harley Quinn coming to film displays have circulated for a while, right down to her Suicide Squad tattoos. Nonetheless, it’s always been hard to tell that were decisions behind the scenes of Birds of Prey, and which of these reports were thinking from the detractors of Suicide Squad.

The recently released teaser footage reveals Margot Robbie sporting the same (visible) tattoos, but it is a photo of Harley Quinn’s new wardrobe that is apparently the most possibly shocking clue. Interested fans seeking to see the evidence for themselves shouldn’t attempt to spot it in the teaser video but instead seem to the Harley Quinn selfie submitted by Margot Robbie on her Instagram account.

As best as her costume can be clarified, Harley Quinn has ditched her prior appearance – of “crazy clown Hot Topic raver” — in exchange for”1980s glam-rock roller derby heroine.” You will find a lot more pinks and yellows compared to her look in Suicide Squad, there is no more blue makeup smeared on her face, and she’s got a frilly crop top (think the Ultimate Warrior) instead of a tattered baseball tee.

Can Harley Quinn understand that Bruce Wayne is secretly Batman? Is this meant to suggest that Gotham offenders may know Batman’s secret identity? And just what does the necklace signify between the caped crusader and Harley Quinn – even a cruel joke, or loyalty? Before we dive into answering those questions we should probably explain an argument, which would signify that necklace isn’t a reference to Bruce Wayne.

There is a possibility that the necklace is intended to Bruce Timm, one of the co-creators of Harley Quinn to its Batman: The Animated Series. Such overt Easter Eggs into Dini and Timm were featured in the introduction of Harley while the makers of Suicide Squad in conversation referred to co-creator and Timm Paul Dini. That would certainly explain the necklace away, but it needs to be remembered that in taking such a photo, fans were expected to create a connection to Batman (DC’s most famous Bruce). Not to me tuon that the reason pundits fans, and bloggers would point to Timm is the fact that it is a simpler explanation, not a better one. “Well…. She can not imply Bruce Wayne, correct?”

However, what if the answer is really the one that is right? Imagine if Harley Quinn currently wears fellow Gotham antihero and her masked hero around her neck’s title? About Birds of Prey’s Harley will have changed for the better, and if so, how much does it tell us? Trust us, not only will Harley understanding Bruce’s secret to be the exciting response… that it would also attract Harley closer than ever for her current comic form, with her days as the Joker’s plaything long behind her.
